May Day Baskets & Brunch
When May arrives, we all start to feel a little bit brighter and more cheerful. Spring has finally returned, the skies are blue, and the flowers are blooming vibrantly! Join us on April 30th at 12:30pm–2:30pm for an exquisite afternoon of joy, laughter, and a few bubbles.
We will be serving a light brunch that includes coffee and juice. Bubbles the champagne cart will be making her debut at the party and serving up Mimosas. 🥂
Our guest co-host, Mollyrose of 5th Street Flowers, will have a flower bouquet bar set up where you can create your own May Day basket. This is such a fun experience! Do you know the history of a May Day Basket?
According to The Old Farmer's Almanac, “this tradition was popular through the 19th and 20th centuries, especially with children or sweethearts. The custom was to knock on the door, yell “May basket!” and then run. If the recipient caught the giver, he or she was entitled to a kiss.”
